Nova Scotia RCMP has launched an investigation into the troubling killing of three cats in the Debert area, situated in the central region of the province. These incidents have raised concerns in the community and among animal lovers.
According to an official news release, these cats mysteriously disappeared from their homes between October 15 and October 17. The disconcerting discovery of their lifeless bodies was made just a few days ago. RCMP Cpl. Chris Marshall has confirmed that it appears all three felines had been shot.
Law enforcement officials are now turning to the public for assistance in gathering more information related to these cases. Cpl. Marshall emphasized the importance of community support in advancing their investigation, stating, “If there’s anybody in the area that has experienced something similar and didn’t think to report it to the police, you know, sometimes people don’t, we would just ask that you do call in to Colchester County District RCMP and advise them that you’ve had a pet that suffered a fate and provide them with whatever information that you have so we can try to advance our investigation.”
The loss of these cats has saddened their owners and concerned the local community, with many hoping for a swift resolution to this disturbing series of events. The RCMP’s appeal for public assistance is a crucial step in shedding light on the circumstances surrounding these incidents and bringing those responsible to justice.
