Sandstone, Minnesota – A group of exotic cats have found solace in a new abode as compassionate Minnesotans embarked on a daring rescue endeavor. The Wildcat Sanctuary, situated in Sandstone, initiated a mission to Michigan after a dealer there was compelled to relinquish over 100 animals, following allegations of mistreatment.
The sanctuary’s dedicated team safely transported four felines back to Minnesota, marking a heartwarming success in their efforts. Among the newcomers, there is a fishing cat hailing from the verdant landscapes of Southeast Asia. Additionally, the sanctuary welcomed two caracals and a serval, all originating from the African continent.
With a resolute commitment to the well-being of these remarkable creatures, the Wildcat Sanctuary has launched an appeal for support. Donations are being graciously accepted through the sanctuary’s official website, aiming to aid the cats on their journey to recovery from the adversity of their previous living conditions.
