OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) – A cat is safe after being stuck in a tree for several days, thanks to the quick action of a local tree service.
Janae Johnston shared a video of the dramatic rescue. According to her, her husband Aaron Johnston, who owns Johnston’s Tree Service in Owensboro, received a call on Easter Sunday about a cat stuck 50 feet up in a tree.
The cat had been stranded for four days, and the situation seemed increasingly urgent. Janae explained that it took a lot of patience and effort to coax the frightened animal down. However, after some time, the cat was successfully placed into a bucket and carefully lowered to the ground.
While the Johnstons had to delay their holiday plans, Janae said the experience turned out to be a memorable one for the family. Thanks to their expertise, the cat is now safe and sound, marking a unique and heartwarming Easter for the local tree service owners.
