Little Mews Rescue, dedicated to saving cats in need, has received a generous donation to support its mission, according to a recent community announcement.
Members of the Gleaner Life Insurance Society’s Legacy Arbor team organized a workplace collection, contributing more than half a dozen large bags of kitty litter, boxes and bags of cat food, toys, and other essential items. In addition to these supplies, Legacy Arbor also made a $500 donation to the rescue facility, located at 3446 N. Adrian Highway in Adrian Township.
Jamie Matthews of Little Mews Rescue gratefully accepted the donation of items and the financial contribution.
“We want to thank the employees’ service group at Gleaner,” Matthews said. “Our rescue is all-volunteer, and our kitties are dependent on donations.”
