A cat that had been missing for 10 months has been joyfully reunited with his family in Carlisle.
Seb disappeared from his home, leaving his owners heartbroken. Over the months, there were several reported sightings and photographs of a cat resembling Seb, but none were clear enough to confirm his identity.
The breakthrough finally came when a photograph was captured that definitively identified Seb. Julie, a member of Oak Tree Animals’ Charity community team, quickly took action, setting a trap for the cat overnight. The next morning, the trap was successful, and Seb was safely caught.
Soon after, Seb was returned to his family, where he was treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and neutered. He quickly settled back into his home life.
Julie from Oak Tree Animals’ Charity expressed her joy, saying, “Seeing Seb happily reunited with his family after such a long time was a very special moment. Wherever possible, we want to help keep animals and owners together, and although Seb was away for several months, it was clear he was delighted to have been given a helping paw to find his way home.”
