Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel, situated at New Barn Farm, has been a beloved destination for feline guests since its opening in September 2020.
Offering boutique facilities, the hotel provides a luxurious retreat for cats. Despite launching amid the pandemic, owners Georgie Taylor-Darke and her husband, small animal vet Chris Darke, have achieved continued success.
With a five-star rating from Test Valley Borough Council and numerous positive online reviews, Longcroft Romsey has expanded by adding four new ‘Sky View’ suites to its original seven ‘Meadow View’ suites.
Each climate-controlled suite includes a private, secure garden play area and optional extras such as grooming services and gourmet selections from the ‘A La Cat Menu.’
Nestled within the tranquil 10-acre New Barn Farm, the hotel overlooks a picturesque meadow and surrounding farmland.
The expansion was driven by the increasing demand for its unique, high-quality service.
Georgie expressed her excitement, saying: “Opening our own Longcroft Cat Hotel in 2020 was a dream come true for me and my husband Chris. We have always loved animals and share our home with our Burmese cats, Tito, Hershey, and Rolo.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to care for so many beautiful cats daily while running our business from home. We are delighted that local cat owners appreciate our personalized service.
“The demand has grown so much that we felt the time was right to expand, allowing us to welcome more feline guests. We are committed to providing each cat with individual attention, and having Chris’ veterinary expertise on hand is invaluable.”
Established in 2010 by Abi Purser, the Longcroft brand remains the UK’s only luxury cat hotel group. Known for its meticulous approach to feline care, Longcroft ensures peace of mind for pet owners by delivering a specialized, home-like experience for its guests.
