March 14 is widely recognized as National Pi Day (3/14), but this year, there’s even more to celebrate.
The Waco-McLennan County Library is marking the occasion by hosting a Pi Day Cat Café at the Central Library.
From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Central Texans are invited to visit the library, relax, browse books, and meet adoptable kittens from the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center.
“Whether you’re a cat lover or just looking for some stress relief, this is the ideal spot to unwind and meet some furry friends,” the library announced. “Bring your friends, family, and a love for cats to enjoy a cozy, fun-filled afternoon!”
The event will feature four 30-minute sessions, starting at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are free and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 3 p.m.
The Central Library is located at 1717 Austin Ave. in Waco.
