The heartwarming incident took place in Longview, Washington, where Mittens became stranded at the top of a fir tree. For three long, cold nights, she meowed desperately, hoping for assistance. Thankfully, the specialized team from Canopy Cat Rescue was called in to help.
Tom, a member of the Canopy Cat Rescue team, responded to the call and successfully brought Mittens down from the tree. The rescue video, shared on Instagram, shows Mittens happily perched on Tom’s shoulder, expressing her gratitude. The post’s caption read, “Apparently she’s a shoulder cat.
