Cat Embarks on Unexpected Road Trip Inside Car’s Wheel Well

As the weather cools, animals often seek out warm places, and sometimes, that spot might be your car!

This was the case for a cat recently rescued by OKC firefighters after it unknowingly hitched a ride from Tulsa, Oklahoma, inside the wheel well of a vehicle.

The incident unfolded when the cat’s owner drove from Tulsa to Oklahoma City for a doctor’s appointment. Upon arriving, the owner heard mysterious meows as she exited her car. Concerned, she called for help, and firefighters quickly responded, discovering the cat inside the wheel well.

Thankfully, the cat was rescued without any injuries. After its unexpected journey, the feline was relocated from the wheel well to a more comfortable spot in the car for the ride home.
