Cumbria, UK – Seven cats currently under the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria are eagerly waiting to find their forever families. The shelter, which works tirelessly to rehabilitate and rehome approximately 350 cats and dogs annually, has introduced these beautiful felines who are ready to be adopted.
Here are the cats hoping to find their perfect match
Clouseau
A striking black and white male, Clouseau is about 18 months old. Although initially independent, Clouseau quickly warms up to those he trusts and loves to play. His time in the cattery has been challenging, and he’s eager to show his true, sweet personality in a new home. Clouseau would thrive as the only pet in a household with older children and would enjoy access to outdoor space.
Muffin
This ten-year-old dilute tortie female is as sweet as her name suggests. Muffin loves human company and, once she becomes familiar with her surroundings, she’s friendly and affectionate. She prefers to be the only pet in a household with older children and would appreciate outdoor space, ideally in a quiet area away from busy roads.
Galadriel
Named after the iconic character from *The Lord of the Rings*, Galadriel is an eight-week-old tortie kitten. Playful, affectionate, and full of energy, she would do well in a home with other pets and older children.
Mary
A five-year-old tortie and white female, Mary enjoys being around people and is looking for a home with access to outdoor space. She would be happiest as the sole pet in a household with older children.
Cuddles
At nearly five years old, Cuddles is a tortie and white female with previous experience as a house cat. She’s known for her love of human company and would thrive as the only pet in a household with older children.
Katara
A three-year-old tabby and white female, Katara has recently weaned her litter of kittens and is now ready to find her own special home. Described as sweet and affectionate, Katara would prefer to be the only pet in a home with secondary school-aged children.
Marge
A one-year-old white and tabby female, Marge is struggling to adapt to the cattery environment and is looking for an understanding owner who can help her build confidence. She would do best as the only pet in a home with older children, with access to outdoor space away from busy roads.
Animal Rescue Cumbria is encouraging potential adopters to fill out an adoption enquiry form, providing detailed information about themselves, their experience, and any previous pets. These lovely felines are hoping to find the caring homes they deserve.
