Three cats were discovered in the garden of an empty property in Dallas Drive, Kirkcaldy, prompting an appeal for information from the Scottish SPCA. The landlord of the property found the cats and contacted the charity’s animal helpline on Friday, May 10th.
Inspector Kirsty Ferrier expressed concern over the cats’ condition, noting that they were thin, infested with fleas, and hungry. Despite being unchipped, the cats are now receiving care at an animal rescue and rehoming center.
The Scottish SPCA urges anyone who recognizes the cats or has information about their circumstances to contact their confidential animal helpline. Additionally, individuals unable to care for their pets are encouraged to seek support and advice from the helpline. Concerned individuals can reach the helpline at 03000 999 999.
