Macclesfield Nub News has been approached with a plea to aid in the search for a beloved feline companion who has gone astray.
Rory, a male cat, has gone missing, leaving his owner devastated and seeking assistance in reuniting with their cherished pet.
The Missing Pet Search Team of Animal Search UK is actively engaged in the pursuit for Rory, who vanished from Over Alderley, SK10 4, following an altercation with another cat on the 12th of March.
According to a statement from Animal Search UK, Rory was forced out of his residence during the early hours of Tuesday morning and has not been sighted since.
Describing Rory as an indoor cat unfamiliar with the outdoors, the organization expressed concerns that he may be injured and hiding in fear following the encounter. Rory is described as a striking silver tabby with captivating green eyes, identifiable by his microchip and neutered status.
The distressed owner recounted the distressing incident, stating, “A Bengal cat intruded through the cat flap and engaged in a confrontation with my cat, who was resting with me in bed. My cat holds immense significance in my life, and I am determined to ensure his safety and well-being.”
Alisha Turner, representing Animal Search Headquarters, voiced apprehension for Rory’s well-being, emphasizing his timid nature and the likelihood of him seeking refuge away from unfamiliar surroundings.
To aid in Rory’s safe return, individuals are encouraged to refrain from approaching him and instead capture photographs to assist the owner in locating him.
Anyone with information regarding Rory’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Animal Search UK team at 0800 4 320 340 or visit their website at www.animalsearchuk.co.uk, quoting reference number ALP318323.
