A cat owner in San Francisco, California, has come up with a creative solution to safely wrestle with his playful cat by designing a special toy.
The video shows Andrew Bruce using an “interactive hand puppet” shaped like a cat-sumo wrestler, which allows him to engage in playful wrestling with his energetic cat, Kleio. The toy is specifically designed to keep Bruce safe from getting scratched or bitten during their rough play sessions.
Bruce explained to Storyful, “Kleio is a very playful cat, and her playfulness led me to invent this cat toy so that I could meet her on her level and play with her without getting scratched or bitten.”
According to his official website, Bruce’s parents found Kleio as a “feral kitten” while sailing in Greece. They decided to bring her back to the United States and gift her to Bruce and his girlfriend.
The video captures Bruce using the CATSUMO Wrestler to enjoy his “nightly session of wrestling” with Kleio, ensuring that both of them have fun while keeping safety in mind.
