This particular Maine Coon was part of a breeder operation specializing in European Maine Coons with multiple locations across the United States. When they’re not matching their adorable kittens with forever homes, they’re playing with toys, enjoying treats, and yes, grabbing an occasional stolen sandwich as part of their enrichment.
Although the sweet cat may hold a grudge against his mom for taking the sandwich away, it was probably for the best. Sandwiches aren’t suitable for cats, and they would happily gobble the whole thing down. It’s better for him to be disappointed than to end up with an upset stomach, even if it’s a tough lesson to learn in the moment!
