A Stourbridge pet sitter is celebrating after her business was named one of the UK’s top franchises.
Sharon Turner, owner of The Cat Butler Stourbridge, has earned a spot in the prestigious Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100).
Sharon, who transitioned from a 30-year teaching career to launch her franchise in July 2024, was included in the Top 100 due to her significant contribution to the local feline community.
She expressed her excitement about the recognition: “It’s absolutely pawsome news, and I’m thrilled that, as part of The Cat Butler family, we’ve been acknowledged for our community involvement as well. Our love for cats goes far beyond the services we offer.”
“As a Cat Butler, feline care, health, and happiness are at the core of everything I do.”
The business, which serves Stourbridge, Pedmore, Kingswinford, Dudley, Rowley Regis, Hagley, and Belbroughton, was the only cat care service to make the list.
A spokesperson for the Elite Franchise Top 100 Awards remarked, “Congratulations to The Cat Butler for being recognised as one of the UK’s top franchises in the Elite Franchise Top 100!”
Sharon was commended for her “commitment to ethical practices, exceptional service, and genuine care for every cat” she serves, as well as for her support of local animal charities like Stour Valley Cat Rescue through fundraising efforts.
Her dedication to both ethical franchising and community engagement was a key factor in securing her spot in the EF100.
The Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) is an esteemed annual list that recognises the UK’s best franchisors. Launched in 2017, it honours businesses that excel in innovation, outstanding service, and community impact.
The list is judged by a panel of industry experts and highlights franchises that set the bar for success and resilience in the sector.
